OUR PROCESSES

Selection of materials

We take the utmost care in selecting the prime materials for our products.

The criterion for choosing prime materials

U‑Power Group puts quality at the centre right from the choice of raw materials, fundamental for the brands' safety footwear and technical workwear ranges.

Certified controls and standards

Each supplier is selected and regularly inspected in compliance with the REACH regulation and European standards. In footwear, leather is one of the most widely used materials: noble, soft, resistant and durable.

An ethical and certified supply chain

The Group's supply chain relies on tanneries that guarantee high standards, work ethics and animal welfare. Only internationally certified companies, such as LWG, become part of the U‑Power supply chain.

Our high-tech materials

The U‑Power Group collections integrate the latest generation of nylon and membranes:

01

GORE-TEX®: membranes that ensure dry feet and comfort even at temperatures
high temperatures.

02

MESH: fabrics designed for maximum breathability.

03

PUTEK PLUS: a fabric with extreme resistance to abrasion and wear, suitable for every
working environment

Softshell U-Tex, advanced clothing

U‑Power technical apparel is characterised by the quality and durability of U-Tex Softshell: the TPU membrane makes them waterproof (3,000 mm), breathable (8,000 MVP) and windproof. It is coupled externally with a 4-way stretch fabric (which protects against moisture and rain) and internally with a Micro-Grid Fleece (which provides comfort and quick-dry properties).

U-4 Way Stretch, a flexible and resistant nylon

This nylon with 14% Elastane combines comfort and strength. It resists tears, abrasions, oils, solvents and fuels, dries quickly and, thanks to the double weave in the weave, increases breathability and protection from vento.

CT, CVC and technical fabrics

For its technical clothing, the U‑Power Group uses versatile fabrics for every need:

01

Poly-Oxford (300D-600D): mainly used for waterproof and durable winter jackets

02

TC-Canvas: combines the strength of polyester with the comfort of cotton

03

CVC Twill: a high percentage of cotton for durable, soft and sophisticated-looking garments
